About Me

I investigate how the brain and biological systems transform molecular signals into behavior, with a strong focus on translating these insights into drug discovery. My work converts complex neural and biological data into predictive, data-driven frameworks with therapeutic potential.

I operate at the intersection of systems neuroscience, molecular biology, drug target identification, and machine learning–driven modeling. I focus on decoding complex neural states from high-dimensional data, driven by a commitment to advancing mental health. I study the brain as an adaptive yet inherently vulnerable system, using next-generation sequencing, functional and molecular imaging, spatial transcriptomics, integrative multi-omics, and probabilistic modeling.

I develop reproducible pipelines and scalable analytical frameworks to translate biological complexity into actionable insights, particularly in precision medicine for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders. I am comfortable working with stochastic systems, noisy datasets, and abstract models, with a focus on extracting meaningful signal from high-dimensional variability

I bring a structured and analytical mindset to neuroscience and molecular biology, grounded in computational rigor. I approach data analysis, modeling, and coding with intention—building solutions that are not only technically robust but also impactful and accessible. My work is guided by a user- and patient-centered perspective, rooted in the belief that without real-world relevance, even the most rigorous research lacks purpose.

I approach both science and life with a quiet, zen-inspired clarity—seeking simplicity, depth, and meaning in complex systems. Beyond research, I find myself drawn to mountains, open skies, and unfamiliar places, where perspective shifts and intuition feels closer. Through travel, mountains and the people I meet along the way, I capture moments that hold both structure and emotion, building a Suvra's World Photography Map that reflects not just places, but the stories and my feelings within them.
